Therese answering (with her eyes closed) “how do you feel?” –> “I’m really glad it’s over. There have been moments over the last few weeks where it hit me that this surgery was really happening, and happening soon, and I would have these freak out moments about losing a part of my body. But now that it’s over, at least for now, I’m glad I did it. I am a little worried for when I can see what it looks like. I’m not sure I want to see right now. ”
Therese answering (with her eyes closed) “how does it feel, physically?” –> “My chest feels really tight. A lot of pressure. Otherwise I can’t feel it. If you touched my chest right now, even by my collar bone, I couldn’t feel it.”
Awesome!!

Though I’ve not yet actually met Therese, I know her through her adoring friend (and my daughter) Caroline Kenerson. Please give her A big hug and glad that all went well today! And looks like she is very well supported by Team T! She is a brave young woman and we all send our love and well wishes during her recovery. I look forward to getting to know her as we spend thanksgiving together in chitown!

Mrs. Kenerson! Thank you so much, the Kenerson family is a special group. Your daughter is a gem and has been so great with checking in on me and stopping by; I’m so happy that our paths crossed during Yoga Teacher Training. Looking forward to meeting you and Mr. Kenerson over Thanksgiving in just a few weeks!
